B Ed days

           On the day 25th October 2024, we got an awareness class on menstrual hygiene and cups. The women cell of our college and Indian Dental Association, Kottarakara Branch organized this session on celebrating International girls child day. The session was conducted by Dr. Akhila Rachel Raju, Assistant professor  Mount Zion Medical College, Adoor.             Adopting appropriate menstrual hygiene practices is crucial for protecting reproductive health as well as preventing infections including bacterial vaginosis and urinary tract infections.  As per the B.Ed. syllabus, we arranged the field trip on 22nd October 2024. The places of visit were Hill Palace  Museum at Thripunithura, Areekal Waterfalls in Ernakulam,  Thanneermukkom Bund   in Kuttanad and   Alappuzha Beach . We started our journey at 5:12 am. Our class teacher Dr . Remya Stanley and our principal Dr. Rosamma Philip accompanied us. We reached the hill palace at 8:30 am and had our breakfast.      We entered the palace and observed all its historical importance. It was such a pleasant experience to see the architectural views. at 11:30 am we left the place and after a 45 minutes travel we reached the waterfall at Areekal. It was really an adventure. We played in the water for one and half hour.  Then it was our lunch time. We had chicken biriyani as our lunch. We moved to Alappuzha.  The merit day of Mount Tabor Training College was conducted on 19th October 2024. the event was conducted to honor all meritorious students of 3 years. The merit day named Tabor Eminence was organized by IQAC. The chief guest, Dr. Abdul Hakkim, Kerala state information commissioner enriched the meeting.  The program began with a prayer. Our principal Dr. Rosamma Philip addressed the welcome speech. Other guests were Very Rev. Younan Samuel Remban, the manager and Rev. Fr. Philip  Mathew, the secretary. Cash awards were given to university toppers of all the three years. Mementos and merit certificates were awarded to A+ grade holders. Certificates were given to A grades. Songs of Alumni and the first year students made it entertain. The meeting ended with national anthem. Alumni were gathered together and had food arranged for them. The first year B. Ed. students made proper arrangements for the day.       

 Today as part of our B. Ed. curriculum, we have an SUPW service to be done.  On behalf of it we visited a nursery at Pidavoor, Pathanapuram. With the permission of our optional in charge teacher and principle we reached the nursery at 10: 30 a.m. There were 18 children along with their parents, teacher and a helper. We engaged them with action songs and games. We gifted them coloring books, crayons and chocolates. We gifted them coloring books, crayons and chocolates. The teachers and staffs cooperated well. We took pictures and was a nice experience. It was really a wonderful experience as a teacher trainee.

 DAY 4        This was the last of school induction. We reported the school at 9 a.m. An assembly was held to distribute prizes. Students who won the sports competition at subdistrict and district level were given prizes. The toppers of X standard were also honored. After the meeting, we got a class in 8 as it was our last class we asked them to write a feedback on our classes. Later we got a substitution on 9 standard. We thanked H.M. along with the teachers in charged and left the school after school time. 

 DAY 3        The day began by signing the attendance sheet. We got a chance to observe the class in X. The school conducted the NAS examination and I was there in valuation. I recorded all the necessary information. I took a class in 8 standard. My peers also get a chance to take a class. There was a P.T.A. for class IX. The preparation for sub district exhibition was going on. We observed a presentation of a student in mathematics project. Ended the day after national anthem.                                                

  DAY 2        We reached the school gate at 9 a.m. After the morning payer, we signed the attendance sheet. A class was given at 8 E. My classmate Liya Susan Jayan took the class and I observed it. Later, a class was given in the afternoon section at 9 A. My peer Kavya A. S. handled the class and I gave a feedback on it. There was a P.T.A. for X. We observed the functioning and left the compound after the national anthem.

DAY 1                As part of our B. Ed. curriculum, we got a school induction program at Mount Tabor Higher Secondary School, Pathanapuram. The program was from 07 October 2024 to 10 October 2024.         Today was my first day in the school. I started the day from 9 a.m. by signing the register. The day continued with observation and interaction with students of class 8. Later identified the functioning of the school. I got an opportunity to take a class on 9 A.
